How to go: There are 2 ways to get to Doi Mae Salong
• From Chiang Rai town, you can use highway 1 pass Mae Chan district, turn left at km marker 856 into highway 1089 (Mae Chan-Tha Ton) pass Pa Teung hot spring until find Kiew Sa Tai Junction at km marker 55, there is a right to Mae Salong for 15 km.
• Take highway 1 to Mae Sai district until km marker 10, turn right into highway 1338 to Phra Tam Nak Doi Tung and turn left into highway 1234 pass Ban E-Kor until km marker 9, turn left to Doi Mae Salong for 16 km.

MiniBus: song thiaws(minibus) stop from 7 Eleven. The last ones leaves around 15.00 to either direction. They may not come to this village if they do not get enough passengers. If there is no sign for a minibus, consider to travel by hitch.
To Pasang: 40 min 60 B This song thiaws may leave from the evening market via the 7 Eleven.
You can travel to Chiang Rai via Kewsatai, Mae Chan. If you cannot get one to Pasang, you may consider to go to Kewsatai.
To Kewsatai then Thaton: 30 Min 30B , from the 7 Eleven Passing through Evening market. The Thaton 30B From Kewsatai, you can go to Mae Chan then Chiang Rai
